Shipping was extremely delayed, but the fault lay with USPS since the post-mark was Mar 22, but didn't arrive until April 28. The quality of the metal is good. Nice heavy feel and black powder coat nice and even.

Excellent product. High Quality beautiful item. It comes with a stepping pin sandwiched between the 2 pieces, not pictured, that allows sliding lock piece to be in 3 positions. Comes with all washers and screws. Highly recommended barn sliding door lock.

GOOD. I did digging for locking. there was a narrow gap between the walls and the sliding doors, I had trouble opening and closing the sliding door because I had to put adding something else to it. that's why I did digging for smooth sliding and locking doors. and then It works wonderfully. Before installing, you have to converse with your wife, and simulate it and acquire the agreement of ur wife.

Quality craftsmanship, sturdy, good design. I had to cut almost half of the base piece off with a grinder to bridge the gap of my barn door. Now works and looks great. The gap was approximately 1 1/2".

I just had a bathroom barn door added, and this is a great idea for a privacy lock. It's not a secure lock, however, it will prevent someone from opening the bathroom door from the outside.

The lock works well. It's not very secure, but does the job of letting people know that the room is occupied.

Used this lock for our sliding door. No instructions came with the product but went and looked at the video in the descriptin of it and its explains everything and easy to install. Works great.Con: the screws for the middle to plug it in and used to swivel wish it was separate. If you screw it into wall tight its hard to swivel and if you make it where its easy to swivel it's like loose from the wall. Probably add like an extra rubber washer thing in the middle it would have that extra rooms to move freely.

I needed a privacy latch (not security) for the sliding barn door to the bathroom but the concern was being able to unlock it from the outside in case of emergency due to grand kids, etc. This one fits the bill perfectly. Very well made and finished with non-sharp edges so you don't get cut easily. I have a large 1-1/2" gap between the door and wall so the medium size fit the bill for being able to secure the door if I turned the device slightly. (See video) Overall I really like how solid it is built and the simplicity of its operation.
